Nowadays, important ready-to-wear Western brands are produced in Bangladesh. With 80% of country’s exports, it represents many considerable millions of dollars. But if the country is growing thanks to textile, workers don’t take advantage of this. They are sacrificed forcost-effectiveness; and it’s difficult for them and for their families to survive.
