Yacine is 17 years old, and his only horizon has always been the concrete buildings of this suburban area. He was born and grew up in Seine-Saint-Denis, one of the poorest French department.  
Jean-Pierre Aurières is a geography teacher and he has a mission: he wants his students to open up to the outside world. For the past ten years, he has been taking his class to the other side of the world, to Madagascar, Chili, India… and this year, to French Guyana. 

This trip is going to change Yacine and his fellow students.
